JIDOKA

According to Toyota, Jidoka sometimes is called “autonomation” means  combination of “automation” and “human intelligence” in order to manage the  quality : machines have the ability to detect errors and stop automatically, without being monitored by an operator. This eliminates the need for operators to continuously watch machines and leads in turn to large productivity gains.

Theo Toyota, Jidoka là sự “Tự động hoá với tư duy con người”, kết hợp sự  thông minh của con người và các công nghệ tự động hoá nhằm quản lý chất  lượng : máy móc sẽ tự động phát hiện lỗi và dừng lại, mà không cần sự giám  sát của người vận hành. Điều này loại bỏ nhu cầu người vận hành phải liên  tục theo dõi máy móc và dẫn đến tăng năng suất lớn.
